Singulating PCBs with a diamond blade saw is one method to provide a cut with a clean edge finish.

FKN Systek provides machines to depanelize boards with this process.

The S200 automatically cuts one line at a time. The operator places the panel into position and the saw blade travels underneath the line to be cut to singulate a panel.

Separate up to 24 lines in one pass with the S300 PLC controlled Diamond Blade Saw. The operator places a panel on the tooling plate, closes the lid and presses the start button to begin the process.

The S100 is an operator controlled saw which can singulate one line at a time using the linear bearing guided support table.

The only way to singulate a panel with this jam of components is with a diamond blade saw. The blade is set to just cut through the PCB without contacting any parts mounted on the board.

The ultra smooth edge finish provided by the diamond blade cut means there is no need for a secondary clean up process, as may be the case with mouse bite panels or with the rougher edge of a pre-scored panel which has been singulated with circular blade depanelizers.
