Both the K5000 and K6000 multiple blade depaneling systems use quick change blade cartridges to make the change-over from one type of panel to another quick and easy. This system is also useful in case blades need to be re-sharpened. Keeping a back-up cartridge ready to go assures that there will be no down time.
       

To change from one cartridge to another for a different set of blades can take less than 30 minutes.

The above cartridge is an example of customized tooling built for a customer who wanted to have the PCB panels travel in a straight line instead of sliding down an incline to the output conveyor belt.
